So why not invest in a good quality travel umbrella to help you stay dry while you are out and exploring a new city while adding a touch of style.
? History of Umbrellas ☂️
The basic umbrella was invented more than 4,000 years ago. There is evidence of umbrellas in the ancient art and artifacts of Egypt, Assyria, Greece, and China.
These ancient umbrellas or parasols were first designed to provide shade from the sun[with our umbrellas you can stay protected from the UV rays as well as the rain]. The Chinese were the first to waterproof their umbrellas for use as rain protection. They waxed and lacquered their paper parasols in order to use them for rain.
❓Did you know that It’s very common in many Asian countries to carry and use an umbrella during the summer? You can stay cool and avoid getting those nasty sunburnt.
☀️ Sun exposure is responsible for most of the visible aging of your skin—far more than all other factors combined.
What does UPF stand for?
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and is a rating system to indicate the UV (Ultraviolet) protection provided by fabrics. UPF measures how much of the sun’s UV radiation is absorbed or “blocked” by fabric, effectively protecting the skin underneath. UPF ratings range from 15 to 50, and a higher UPF rating indicates greater protection. Garments that are rated UPF 50+ offers excellent UV protection.
